“These are some of our favorite family recipes that always bring back fond memories when we use them (and eat)!”

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 env Dry Yeast
  • 2 cups milk(warmed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbs. GW Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 5 cups Flour (divided)
  • 2 Tbs. melted butter.

 

Instructions:

  1. Soften yeast in warm milk in large bowl with electric mixer
  2. Add eggs and sugar to yeast
  3.  Add salt and about 3C flour
  4. Mix
  5. Add rest of the flour and butter
  6. Batter will be thin
  7. Let it rise in the mixing bowl until doubled in size (1 1/2 hr)
  8. Punch down and pour into well-greased bundt pan
  9. Let rise again until double
  10. Bake in 350 oven an hour, covering with tin foil after 1st half hour
  11. Remove from pan and serve warm.
