“These are some of our favorite family recipes that always bring back fond memories when we use them (and eat)!”

 

 

Ingredients, Chicken coating:

  • 3-4 boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup corn starch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • The Sweet and sour sauce:
  • ¾ cup GW Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Tbs. ketchup
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 1 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic salt

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Cut chicken breast into cubes
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Dip chicken in corn starch to coat then dip in eggs
  5. Heat oil in skillet and cook chicken until brown but not cooked through
  6. Place chicken in 9×13 greased baking dish
  7. Mix sweet and sour sauce in bowl- Whisk and pour over chicken
  8. Bake 1 hour – turning chicken every 15 minutes
