The Fire Department makes 180 food baskets with donations for the Christmas holiday. On Friday and Saturday, November 22-23, Western Sugar’s Fort Morgan Facility entered a tree into the Vision of Trees, hosted by The Sanctuary. The tree was decorated by students at Kids at Their Best with small bags of cotton candy.
On October 17, 2024, the Fort Morgan community honored Stewart Norrish as he retired from Western Sugar after 38.5 years of dedicated service. Throughout his tenure as an Agriculturist, Stewart made significant contributions to our cooperative. His last day with us was October 18th. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors!

On Saturday, October 5, Western Sugar Cooperative had two teams run in the United Way Color Run, which is sponsored by Western Sugar. One of the Fort Morgan facility’s teams came in first place with all entries from Morgan County!
