“These are some of our favorite family recipes that always bring back fond memories when we use them (and eat)!”

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sliced, pared, cored, baking apples  (or 1 can apple or cherry pie filling)
  • ¼ to 1/2cup GW Light Brown Sugar (packed)
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 3 TBSP soft butter

 

Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Place apples in a greased 9”x5”x3” loaf pan
  3. Blend remaining ingredients
  4. Until crumbly
  5. Spread sugar-flour mixture over apples
  6. Bake 30-35 minutes until top is golden
  7. Serve with whipped cream or Ice cream
