“These are some of our favorite family recipes that always bring back fond memories when we use them (and eat)!”
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sliced, pared, cored, baking apples (or 1 can apple or cherry pie filling)
- ¼ to 1/2cup GW Light Brown Sugar (packed)
- ¼ cup flour
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 3 TBSP soft butter
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 350
- Place apples in a greased 9”x5”x3” loaf pan
- Blend remaining ingredients
- Until crumbly
- Spread sugar-flour mixture over apples
- Bake 30-35 minutes until top is golden
- Serve with whipped cream or Ice cream
