March 7, 2018 Parkside Elementary 3rd Grade Tour. Tour guides included: Mark Bjornestad, Travis Mehling, Jeff Feller, Brandon Harvey, and Jody Lynne Bassett. To add to the fun, one of the 3rd grade teacher was Rita Bjornestad, wife of Western Sugar Agriculturalist, Mark Bjornestad. The Lovell Factory welcomed the students with lunch, gave a talk on safety. The students were divided in to two groups and went on the tour. The kids mentioned that their favorite part of the day was tasting the warm sugar! Good times were had by all.
