Fort Morgan Elementary Career Exploration Day was on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 4:30 pm to 6:45 pm at the Library Park in Fort Morgan. This “career fair” for elementary students teaches them about various jobs and industries.
Tyler Sand, Assistant Process Manager, Meet Shah, Process Engineer, Lydia Kellogg, Process Engineer, and Terri Way, HR, participated and enjoyed working with approximately 200 children and their families that evening. Western Sugar gave away hard hat stress balls and ink pens to participants after they stamped their career passport.
The children were excited to learn about engineering, human resources, where sugar comes from, and what foods have sugar in them.
