Summary
Performs a variety of business responsibilities. Actively participates in supporting Western Sugar Core Values. Requires considerable judgment, diplomacy, and tact. Assignments are received in the form of results expected, due dates, and procedures to follow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities includes good customer service relations, scheduling loads, creating shipping documents for outgoing warehouse loads, production entry, completes molasses load ticket transmissions, pulp shipping, reviewing emails and taking shipping phone calls, and will provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager such as ordering shipping supplies, filing, emailing, faxing, scanning, copying, as well as any other duties as assigned. The position may have changes to the work described above as technology and workloads dictate.

Analytical – Requires the ability to compile and prepare analytical information, attention to detail and prepare a variety of reports
Problem solving – Design and implement workflows and procedures. Use feedback to modify designs. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Project management – Work independently, as well participate in group problem solving situations. Coordinate and complete projects on time.
Technical skills – Perform activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Customer service – Solicits and analyzes feedback to improve service. Capable of managing difficult customer situations. Quickly responds to requests for service or assistance.
Interpersonal skills – Must possess solid English verbal and written communication skills. Must compile and prepare proper documentation. Must communicate clearly, with persuasion. Maintains confidentiality.
Teamwork – Balance team and individual responsibilities; remain objective and open to other viewpoints. Give and receive feedback. Demonstrate a positive attitude, and places success of the team and the company above personal interest.
Must uphold company core values – safety/quality/business ethics/costs. Work with integrity and ensures business ethics are appropriately followed.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
English language primary.
Computer Skills
Microsoft office – Word/Excel/PowerPoint – Intermediate level
SAP and Hanna software applications. Manufacturing software
Work Environment
Warehouse environment – moderate noise level. Capable of working within the physical constraints of a manufacturing plant. The employee must occasionally grasp, lift and/or move up to 10 – 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, listen, and speak, and operate various office machines.
