Title:  Process Utility

 

Wage: $21.95 to $24.30 per hour

 

Location:  Fort Morgan, Colorado

 

Position Overview

 

The Process Utility position is responsible for the learning, training, and gaining in-depth knowledge of the following processes: 1. Sugar Boiler 2. 2nd Filter 3. Centrifugal 4. Carbonation Station 5. Lime Kiln 6. PKF Operator, 7. Bin Operator 8. Knife Station, 9. Boiler House Operator, 10. Stoker-Water, 11. Lab Lead Analysis, 12. Bench Chemist

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership
  • Commitment to regular attendance
  • Operate process equipment computers
  • In-depth knowledge of factory processes
  • Actively communicate with the Shift Supervisor and all Team members
  • Requires multi-tasking, good organizational skills and self motivation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Factory Process
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals
  • Ability to work within a rotating or fix shift schedule

 

Skill & Experience Requirements

 

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to clean and maintain a clean and safe production area
  • Ability to repair and maintain process equipment; including assisting maintenance staff with repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems with the process or equipment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn the In-depth knowledge of the sugar factory processes
