Position Title: PKF Operator

 

Position Overview

 

  • The PKF position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the PKF systems and area. The PKF Operator is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

  • Commitment to regular attendance
  • Actively communicate with the Shift Supervisor, Beet End Tech and Utility on equipment and process status
  • Requires multi-tasking, good organizational skills and self motivation
  • Operate process equipment computers
  • Work well in a team environment and independently
  • Work within a rotating shift operation.
  • Must complete the following duties:
  • Daily – Monitor clothes, washing clothes as needed, clean side rails
  • Monthly – Complete required maintenance

 

Skill & Experience Requirements

 

  • Friendly, results oriented, and collaborative
  • Willingness to clean and maintain a clean and safe production area
  • General working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and process equipment
  • Have good oral and written communication skills other equivalent batch/continuous industry process skills
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Ability to repair and maintain process equipment; including assisting maintenance staff with repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems with the process or equipment
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and/or skid-steer loader
  • Must be able to properly wear a respirator

 

Working Relationship:

  • Reports to the shift supervisor

 

Employment Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years old or older
