Title: Operating Electrician
Wage: $24.24-$26.17
Position Overview
The Operating Electrician is responsible troubleshooting, repair, and improves the functionality and reliability for all electrical, electromechanically, installations and repair.
Essential Functions
.
- Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership
- Commitment to regular attendance
- Be able to read and interpret all electrical schematics for the plant
- Knowledgeable of electrical nominal voltages of 24VDC, 110 VAC through 480 VAC 3 phase
- Installation of conduit and wire in a neat correct manner and to NEC code
- Basic troubleshooting of Motor Control Centers and effective motor maintenance
- Demonstrate good electrical and mechanical practices and promote throughout the facility
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals
- Work within a rotating shift or shift operation
Skill & Experience Requirements
- Two year technical degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong electrical experience working with voltage of 24dc to 480ac and Control Power
- Basic understanding of multi-meter and testing equipment
- Proven trouble shooting skills and ability
- Willingness to clean and maintain a clean and safe Maintenance area
- Good oral and written communication skills
