Location: Denver, Colorado


Position Overview

Responsible for managing assigned customer accounts regarding sales, accounts receivables, and certain supply-chain activities. Once sales are made, the position is responsible for customer forecasting and reconciliation. The person will be required to establish a solid understanding of customers, competition, and the overall industry to support a customer focused strategy. This enables the cooperative to delivery on commitments that allow its customers to grow while rewarding the cooperative with customer loyalty.


Essential Functions

•      Sell sugar products to target customers

•      Establish very strong customer relationships

•      Create forecasts based on forward sales and production capabilities

•      Proactively seek out new market opportunities generating new or improved sales

•      Have a solid understanding of supply chain details by account and product lines

•      Understand impacts from overall industry supply/demand estimates for improved sales

•      Proactively share industry and competitive intelligence

•      Provide back-up customer service when needed


Skill & Experience Requirements

•      Bachelor’s degree

•      3-5 years in a food or agribusiness company

•      CPG experience preferred

•      Superior customer service approach

•      Proficient computer skills with Microsoft products and SAP knowledge desirable

•      Expresses oneself clearly and effectively both verbally and written

•      Friendly, collaborative, and loyal

•      Listen, be open, and foster trust in the organization


Work Schedule: Standard

Travel: Ranges from 10-30% of the time
