During Career Day at Greybull Elementary School in Lovell, WY, 212 students visited a station hosted by Jody Lynne Bassett and Daniel Stamstad from Western Sugar Cooperative. Students learned how sugar is made from sugar beets, from planting and harvesting to processing and packaging. Jody Lynne and Daniel also shared what it’s like to work in agriculture and the sugar industry, sparking curiosity and great questions from the students.
