In July 2024, Western Sugar Cooperative had a booth at the BobStock event in Fort Morgan! They had the booth all day on both Friday and Saturday, where they handed over 200 bags of sugar, pamphlets, pens, cell phone holders, and had a drawing for three baskets, each with products that have our sugar in them. The header for this event was Three Dog Night, and people came from across the country to explore, listen to music and enjoy.
The booth was run by Terri Way and assisted by Cruz Cruz, Brett Swanson, Daniel Winner, Greg Enfante. Not pictured, but assisted with the booth were Jill VonFeldt, Ray Bobian Jr., Jesus Gallardo, Don Stonecipher, Orlando Martinez Jr. and 4 other volunteers outside of WSC, but associated with employees.Our first winner of the Western Sugar basket. Brett Swanson was selected, but he gave her the basket. Our second basket winners were Rebekah Kjonaas-Buis, one of our Beet Sugar Techs with another employee, Heath Risinger, Process Utility.
