Mr. Rodriguez was raised on a sugar beet farm in Powell, Wyoming, following his father and grandfather as a sugar beet grower.  Mr. Rodriguez, has now been raising sugar beets of his own since 1981. Mr. Rodriguez represents the Lovell Factory District in Northern Wyoming.  He graduated from Montana State-Billings with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1980. Mr. Rodriguez has been involved in the representation of  sugar beet industry since 1987. He served on the local grow association until the formation of the Western Sugar Cooperative in 2002, where he was elected as an initial Board of Director of the Cooperative.   Mr. Rodriguez raises sugar beets, malt barley, edible beans and alfalfa hay.  He also serves on the board of the National Barley Growers Association.
