Michael Ann and Branden Hessler, agriculturalists in Scottsbluff, presented to middle school students through the Nebraska Farm Bureau to teach them about sugar beets.
The Billings facility hosted a display booth at the Billings County Fair that included live sugar beets, sugar packets, throwback mountain dew, and sugar beet literature. They helped teach the community about the locally grown sugar beets.
On June 8, 2019, the Walleye Tournament was held at Lake Minatare. This annual tournament was organized by Lyle Belgum and Paul Sierra and 30+ teams participated in this great event. Pictured is Scottsbluff employee J.J. West and his son Easton, who were participants in the event.
A group of students from Rwanda visited the Scottsbluff facility on July 11th, 2019. This tour was coordinated with Western Nebraska Community College. The students were visiting Nebraska in an effort to develop the next generation of Rwandan agriculture. Sugar beets are grown in small amounts in Rwanda.
